The Finance department is responsible for maintaining financial goals and overseas the whole financial operations for the organization. Handles payroll services, ensuring that compensation is handled promptly and accurately. Accounts payable, processing and paying invoices so that we maintain a good credit standing. Accounts receivable, issuing invoices and following up with payment reminders. Assist with grant funding, budget planning and does the financial reporting and maintains an accurate record of all transactions we’re involved with. Supports the Council and Band Manager on offering insights for financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for Shackan Indian Band.
